The Hwa Chong Invitational was held from the 20th-21st of January and our fencers have done well!
In the Men's Epee Individual event, we have a one-two finish on the podium where Jaren Ng and Brandon Goh finished first and second place respectively! Both of them had started off strong in the poules and continued the winning streak all the way into the finals. In the finals, it was a tightly contested match between the both of them and Jaren narrowly won in the end to claim the gold medal.
Congratulations to Jaren and Brandon! Both of you have fenced extremely well and we couldn't be more proud!
The medal spree continues in the Women's Epee Individual event where Glenda Lim progressed the direct elimination table into the semi-finals where she managed to secure a bronze medal for herself!
