The SGF Epee Invitational 2018 is our very own internal competition where it allows our students who had just recently started fencing to be exposed to what a competition is and feels like in a safe environment! Regardless of the experience of our fencers, they have all done well!
In the Secondary 1 Boy's Epee category, we have Denzel Han (PRCS) topping the event and winning the gold! Coming in second place is Bryan Chia Ming Jun (GDL). In joint-third, we have Jonas Chan Ze Xian (GDL) and Jullian Jace Choong (PRCS)!
In the Secondary 1 Girl's Epee category, we have Koning Ona (PRCS) who started off strong and winning the competition! The runner up of this event is her schoolmate Michaela Juliane Chua Dela Cruz (PRCS) while the fencers in joint-third are Choong Zi Cheng and Abriella Lau Rou Xuan both from (GDL)! Well done!
In the Secondary 2 & 3 Girl's Epee category, we have Clarice Seng Su En (PRCS) who won the event! Coming in second place is Sylvia Lee Jia Xin (GDL) who narrowly lost in the finals to Clarice claiming the silver for herself. In joint-third, we have Nicole Joan D'Souza (BPGH) and Magenta Tan Wei Qi claiming one bronze medal each!
In the Secondary 2 & 3 Girl's Epee category, we have Jacob Lim Yet Honng (PRCS who started off strong and kept on the winning streak in the direct elimination table to win the gold medal! Coming in second place is schoolmate Matthias See Zhi Yong (PRCS) who also narrowly lost in the finals to claim the silver medal! In joint-third, we have Kyaw Lin Thant (BPGH) and schoolmate Muhammmad Irfan Bin Ruhaizat (BPGH) winning the bronze medal!
