In the Singapore Junior Fencing Championships 2018, our fencers have done well and managed to come back with medals in tow!
In the Men's Sabre Individual event, Fong Zheng Jie started the event off in strong form all the way into the finals claiming the silver medal where he narrowly lost to national teammate Ahmad Huzaifah from the Singapore Sports School.
In the Men's Epee Individual event, Austin Lu Wei Chen fought his way through the direct elimination table to secure his place in the semi-finals where he claimed the bronze-medal for himself! His fighting spirit throughout the competition is to be respected!
The results continue in the Men's Epee Team event where our SGF Team consisting of members Alasdair Low, Jaren Ng, Damien Tan and Ming Feng won bronze! Throughout the competition, the team displayed strong fighting and team spirit and they are truly deserving of the medal!
