Singapore minime Fencing Challenge 2018

The Singapore Minime Fencing Challenge 2018 is a great platform for our little warriors as well as our lower-secondary fencers to participate and compete against fencers of the same age group.

In the Under-10 Boy's Epee individual event, both Yu Haoze and Jonas Lim finished in the Top 8 with a final position of fifth and eighth respectively!

In the Under-10 Girl's Epee Individual event, both Ashley Harrison and Yue Han started off strong in their poules by winning all their bouts to be seeded first and second in the direct elimination table. Both kept their consistency on and continued their winning streak all the way into the medal rounds where Ashley won the entire competition in the end while Yue Han finished with a bronze medal!

In the Under-14 Boy's Sabre Individual event, Chew Jun Chen fought hard in his poules and continued his way up the direct elimination table into the semi-finals where he secured a bronze medal!

Great job as well to Olave Mikayle Angel Zotomayor for finishing in seventh place in the Girl's Sabre Individual event!

Throughout this competition, many of our fencers have displayed maturity beyond their age and we are so proud of what they have done! Let this competition serve as a motivation to work even harder!
