Representing SGF we have Ona Koning (Bronze), Choong Zi Cheng (6th), Denise Seah (8th), Sylvia Lee (14th), Ellen Yang (17th), Lee Che Wei (18th), Ennabelle Tan (20th), Lauren Leow (22nd) and Glynnis Tay (24th).
In the pools stage, Ona once again dominated and won all her bouts in the pools. Zi Cheng won 4 out of 5 of her bouts, Denise won 3 out of 5, Sylvia, Che and Ennabelle won 2 bouts. Lauren winning 1 bout in her pool.
Denise earned a bye into the Table of 16, where she upseeded rank 8, 15 -9 to progress into the Quarter-Finals, where she met teammate Ona. Zi Cheng progressed into the Quarters after a nail biting 14 -13 in the Table of 16. Sylvia upseeded rank 15 in the Table of 32 with a 15-11 victory.
Ona won the Bronze Medal in the Women's Epee Individual Event!
