Representing SGF we have 2 boys, Tyler Chan (Gold) and Gong Zekai (Silver).
Tyler won 5 out of 6 of his bouts in the pools, and Zekai won 3 out of 6 of his bouts in pools.
In the Table of 16, Zekai upseeded rank 8 with a score of 15-10 to progress into the Quarter-Finals. Tyler convincingly won his Table of 16 bout, 15-9 to progress into the Quarter-Finals.
In the Top 8, Tyler and Zekai dominated their bouts 15-5 and 15-8 respectively and earned their place in the Top 4. Zekai remained calm and focused to take down his Semi Final bout 15-13, earning his place in the Finals. Same for Tyler who progressed into the Finals with a 15-8 win over the Semi Final opponent.
Teammates Zekai and Tyler fenced their own in the Finals, with Tyler winning Gold and Zekai winning Silver.
